Colleen Trahan founded Whale Rock Consulting in 2025, drawing on more than two decades of experience in strategic finance, accounting, and business operations across multiple industries.
Her background spans senior finance roles in food distribution and renewable energy, executive leadership in the nonprofit sector, and advisory work with growth-stage companies. That range of experience — across industry, ownership structure, and organizational size — shapes how she approaches each client engagement: practically, without unnecessary complexity, and with a focus on what the business actually needs to move forward.
Colleen holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts. She is based in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and maintains a weekly presence at Innovate Newport in Newport, Rhode Island.
